“We believe, united together, through our vast resources, mounds of experience within our membership base, and through educational forums -- we can assist, help, guide, and inform on all areas of property ownership – so that you can achieve your real estate investment goals.
We also believe that personal property rights are the foundation of this success and are an important part of becoming a professional, responsible (business) property owner – therefore the Coalition maintains a high awareness of proposed legislation, case law and statutory laws that affect our business and when necessary use the judicial system to provide relief and positive change for all”

Is a legal not for profit organization that was founded in 1999 to bring a more consolidated voice to bear on the many important issues facing property owners and businesses.We are dedicated in the restoration of property rights that, as Americans, we expect are protected by our constitution. At the top of the list of current priorities is the increasing trend in cities such as Rochester, Syracuse, Buffalo, and New York City of imposing draconian laws and regulation that drastically impact the rights of property owners and businesses. As city governments become increasingly frustrated in their attempts to curb rampant crime and illegal drugs, they are wildly lashing out at innocent property owners. Local governments’ misplaced beliefs that landlords and business can somehow restrain the day to day behavior of their tenants and patrons have fueled this regulatory frenzy. Laws that virtual allow confiscation of property are now on the books and are being enforced. Such laws provide for the taking of a persons property or the closing of their business if crimes and or nuisances are committed on the premises, even if things are done by trespassers or visitors. The Coalition, united together, maintains a watchdog status upon overzealous and unlawful government regulations, procedures, and individual actions. And when necessary, utilize the judicial system (courts) to obtain relief and ultimately positive change for all! Presently, there are several prominent cases initiated or supported by the Coalition that are in various stages of both State and Federal courts.
The Coalition also provides help and guidance in issues such as lead paint liability, property management, leasing, maintenance, legal responsibilities, welfare and section 8, tenancy issues, property insurance, etc… The Coalition brings issues to open educational forums, where experts are invited to speak to its members, present programs, answer questions and provide feed back. With the addition of our resource center,we now promote topic forums hosted by experienced property owners, and if desired, one on one with our specialty advisors.
The idea is to become united together- learn from and educate each other- reach your investment goals- so that we can all ultimately become better equipped to protect the rights and interest of ourselves, our members and all property owners.
Application for membership is below. Dues are $125.00 per year which runs from March 1st to March 1st. (Prorated memberships are available after June 1st)
